Description:
This modern office building shares part of it’s site with the historic Ocius Building. The need to preserve the existing building required spaning 105 feet over the occupied structure with a 12 feet deep steel Vierendeel truss in order to support the parking garage above it. The main building and most of the parking is a partially precast structure. The part of the parking spanning over the Ocius building is structural steel.
